I love to eat good food and travel as much as possible. So this is a product of two of my favorite activities. |
My Italian colleague made tiramisu. It amazed me how different it was because I guess I had never eaten an authentic tiramisu before. It seems like American recipes usually add whip cream/ cream cheese or coffee liqueur which are not very common in Italy. I have to say something’s are better simple. This tiramisu had barely 6 ingredients and honestly in my opinion all that it needed to be perfect.

Best part of being home is I can roll out of bed at 11:30 and there cooked food, fresh strawberries, nuts and juice waiting for me.đ #miami #goodlife #lovemymother

Recently I saw the movie a Beautiful Life (link below), which is set in Beijing, China. Throughout the movie the main character keeps on making all sorts of dumplings due to which I went into this phase of unbelievable dumpling cravings for few days. I ordered through local restaurants but the dumplings were so horrible :(
So after a day I just had to make them for myself. So I found a decent tutorial on youtube and made both fried and steamed dumplings. I stuffed the dumplings with mince chicken, cilantro, green onion, green chillies and soy sauce. It was not as good as the ones in the movie but I was content after eating them. It definitely took effort to make the dough, and make the dumplings from scratch but I have to admit they tasted way better than the gross stuff my local chinese take out place sells. It was probably healthier too ;)
